Our Team
Alexander M. Marti DMD, MD, MS
Dr. Marti has taken a circuitous route to his surgical/prosthetic practice. Graduating medical school with his MD, he then completed dental school and a Masters in Oral Biology to round out his initial medical education. His Masters degree was given for his award-winning research on 3D dental imaging and its education to dental students. Since his graduation he has pursued continuing education in areas related to extractions, wisdom teeth, IV sedation, dental implants, sinus surgery, and the advanced prosthetics of full-mouth implant rehabilitation. His practice is now exclusively focused on surgery and advanced prosthetics. His current area for continued growth is holistic in nature as he investigates ceramic implants, the biological nature of healing, and supplementation to improve surgical outcomes.
He prides himself on his ability to engage the human element of the dentist-patient relationship. This results in him treating each patent as an individual. He often makes himself available, even after-hours, so his patients never feel they are without recourse.
He maintains a surgery-based practice in both Louisville, KY and Madison, IN.
He has been a Hybridge full-arch, permanent dental implant provider for many years now, and has Platinum Elite status as one of the top full-arch implant providers in the country. This is by far his favorite procedure because of the transformational effect it has on patients and the long-term relationships he develops.
His wife is a general dentist in Madison, IN, and together they have 2 wonderful children. They enjoy spending their free time maintaining their home space, eating and cooking and, when the weather is nice, Jeepin’. If you want to strike-up a conversation worth having, ask him about the latest book he’s read, about his latest health focus, or general Jeep stuff.
